My professional practice

This time I am going to tell you about my professional practice. As a Chemistry student, all students have to do a professional internship for almost two months before finishing the degree, and some time ago the opportunity arose for me to do my professional internship at the Coca Cola company. It has been very exciting. Being able to work in a company with a global presence, see how it works from within, and learn about the important role of chemists in the beverage making processes has been an experience that has exceeded my expectations.

At first it was intimidating to know that your analyzes directly influence a product that will be consumed by people, and that any error can affect people, also the pace of work is very fast and intense, most of the analyzes are needed for the day before, so we are always on time, but at the same time it is gratifying to know that a good job is done, that production never stops and that behind each drink is a set of interlocking teamwork that they ensure that the final product is of quality.

I also met new chemical techniques and people from different careers who work together with chemists. I hope one day to return as a professional.
